Recommendation: Adopt A Resolution: (1) Accepting And Appropriating A Grant From The Office Of Juvenile Justice And Delinquency Prevention In An Amount Not To Exceed One Million Dollars ($1,000,000)For The Period Of October 1, 2023, To September 30, 2026; And (2) Authorizing The City Administrator To Take All Steps Necessary For The City To Receive The Grant; And (3) Amending An Existing Grant Agreement With Communities United For Restorative Youth Justice For School Violence Interruption Services To Extend The End Date From September 30, 2025, To September 30, 2026, And Increase The Grant Amount By Three Hundred Fifty-Seven Thousand Four Hundred Eighty-Six Dollars ($357,486), For A Total Amount Not To Exceed Six Hundred Fifty-Seven Thousand Four Hundred Eighty-Six Dollars ($657,486); And (4) Amending An Existing Grant Agreement With Youth ALIVE! For School Violence Interruption Services To Extend The End Date From September 30, 2025, To September 30, 2026, And Increase The Grant Amount By Five Hundred Seventy Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty-Nine Dollars ($570,759), For A Total Amount Not To Exceed One Million One Hundred Twenty Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty-Nine Dollars ($1,120,759); And (5) Authorizing The Department Of Violence Prevention To Enter Into A Memorandum Of Understanding With The Oakland Unified School District Regarding The School Violence Prevention And Intervention Program; And (6) Allocating Grant Funds In An Amount Not To Exceed Seventy-One Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty-Four Dollars ($71,754) To Fund 0.10 Full-Time Equivalent For A Health And Human Services Program Planner Position In The Department Of Violence Prevention For The Period Of October 1, 2023, To September 30, 2026
