ESOLUTION APPOINTING MARGARET M. RUSSELL AS A MEMBER OF THE
OAKLAND MUSEUM OF CALIFORNIA FOUNDATION
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 11503 C.M.S. creates the Oakland
Museum of California Foundation, whose members are appointed by the
Mayor and confirmed by a majority of the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the Bylaws of the Oakland Museum of California
Foundation specify that members of the Oakland Museum of California
Foundation are to serve three year terms, which are to be staggered so
that some appointments will expire every year, and appointments to fill a
term of office are only to be for the remainder of that term; now, therefore,
be it
RESOLVED, that by the nomination of the Mayor and confirmation
by a majority of the Council, the following individual is hereby appointed to
the term set forth below:
Margaret M. Russell, to complete the term beginning November 1,
2001 and ending November 1, 2004, filling a position formerly held by Tim
Silva.
